5 Every Day and Cinefamily give a toast to our fair 'burg with a super-rare 35mm screening of one of the most surreal depictions of L.A., Julian Temple's Earth Girls Are Easy--and an assortment of other local delights curated by Jona Bechtolt and Claire Evans from YACHT.
The Angelenos-themed night comes complete with free food and drinks on the patio provided by our friends at Starry Kitchen and Donut Friend.
The show will begin with a premiere of the latest episode of Tom Explores Los Angeles: Tom Carroll’s idiosyncratic web series chronicling our city's hidden histories.
Plus, 5 Every Day, an app that brings five new, curious things to do in our fair city daily, will launch their new secret society/loyalty club “Club 5” at the screening. The gang will be giving away a free Club 5 lapel pin to the first 50 people in line that gets you perks and discounts all over town, including right here at Cinefamily.
Earth Girls Are Easy Dir. Julien Temple, 1988, 35mm, 100 min.
